This section follows the creek through wooded areas and wetlands with two distinct alignment options for the route. The options are predicated by the feasibility of the trail alignment along the creek to the south as described in Segment C.
4: The trail follows the creek corridor and then turns west into a residential neighborhood to connect to SW 76th Avenue. Due to the width of the public right-of-way, the trail in this section shares the street with vehicles as shown. This route could be an interim solution if the project is built is sections, or it could be the primary route if the route 5 alignment south along the creek is not feasible. If this route is not the preferred alignment, it presents a good neighborhood connector trail and emergency access route.
5: This alignment option follows the creek, mostly navigating around a large wetland with great views of the creek and user experience of the landscape.
