To become a truly anti-racist and multicultural institution, we aim to dismantle barriers across our organization and build a more inclusive and representative workplace and leadership that embraces diversity, calls out discrimination and puts equity at its heart.
Putting the values of equity and antiracism into practice will require changing the way the city works: how our city government makes decisions; where we invest; how services and programs are delivered; how we engage with everyone, including newcomer communities; and how success is measured. Fulfilling the city’s vision requires a framework for prioritizing projects and making decisions.
