Tigard Board and Committee Current Member Interest Form

Current board members should submit this form if:

• Their term is ending and they would like to be considered for reappointment
• Interested in moving to a different board/committee

Reappointments are not guaranteed and members will be asked to go through the interview process. 

City Council adopted Standard Bylaws for Boards/Committees in 2026. As part of the new bylaws, all members who are alternates and express interest will automatically become voting members by Council resolution - no interviews are required. Additionally, to support a smooth transition into the new bylaws, board member term lengths will be staggered. Board members with the longest service will receive the shortest initial term (1 or 2 year(s)), while those with the least amount of service will receive the longest term (3 years).
