Every ten years the city creates a road map called the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The plan sets a vision for the future of parks and recreation in Tigard and recommends investments the city can make to achieve the community’s vision.

    Update: Online Survey Results

    Thank you to everyone who participated in the Parks & Recreation Master Plan survey this fall! The high level of community interest in planning for Parks & Recreation was clear from the 648 surveys received. Many participants walk to the parks closest to their home and enjoy what is available. Ideas for improvement focused on:

    • Unique play areas
    • Additional programming
    • Expanded trail system
    • Tualatin River Access
