Are You Able to Volunteer?
Thank you for your interest in helping our community during this unprecedented time. We have several opportunities to volunteer individually or virtually that are listed below. To prioritize the safety of our community members, the City of Tigard is not currently coordinating any in-person group volunteer activities.
Crafts for Seniors
- Pick up a free craft kit from Fanno Creek House (13335 SW Hall Blvd) and complete at home. Return the craft back at the House by January 31 and staff will deliver the crafts/letters to local senior living facilities.

Offer Your Services (medical, expertise, advertise)
- Make fabric masks for City essential employees
Place donations in a bag with a note containing the following information: Your Name, Contact Information, Short description of donation (ex. number of masks), If we can thank you publicly for your donation
Drop off at Tigard Public Works (8777 SW Burnham Street) - Share covid-19 safety measures through your social media. Stay Home. Save Lives.
- Are you a health professional?
Make a Donation (monetary, food, protective equipment)
- Local community members are coordinating Operation HOPE (Health, Outreach, Partnership, Encouragement) to help those experiencing homelessness and isolation by partnering with nonprofits to donate small care packages. Packages include hand sanitizer, a warm clothing item, small treat, and personalized item. Over 1,000 care packages have been sent to over a dozen local organizations. If you are able, please donate items through this Amazon wish list.
- Help our neighbors by donating food and items at the Safeway on 99W in King City. Items needed include: cereal, canned beans, canned vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, rice, and soap.
- WashCo Bikes is looking for bike donations of any make, model, size and condition for families, essential works, vets, and seniors in need. WashCo Bikes can pick up your donation from your driveway if you live in Tigard, Tualatin, Beaverton/Washington County area. For questions please contact WashCo Bikes or ed@washcobikes.org
