What's your favorite late-night talk show?

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

(Complete the sentence) I'll be happy that I attended 'Late Night in Tigard' if..

I get the usual dose of inspiration for the future, based on all that Tigard has accomplished in the past year.

What's you 'aha' moment when you felt part of the community?

Years ago, participating in the Vision process (late 90's) the community's willingness to look holistically at who was being served, and who was being left out?with a full focus on housing and homeless issues.

Since my daughter attended the Learning Tree on Hall Blvd., when I picked her up for a lunch date, grabbed a happy meal at McDonalds, and brought it to eat outside be Fanno Creek watching the nutria before stopping in the library to grab a bag full of books.

I lived in Garden Home, but my family's daily life was often centered in the community I worked in. Now my daughter is in her 20's, and working in a university library part-time. But I like to think it all started back then, when she was a toddler. She loves all libraries, but the Tigard Library was her first crush

Mayor Snider is committed to 'getting out of city hall and into your neighborhood.' What neighborhood or community events would you like to see the City of Tigard represented?
