Upcoming Community Engagement Meetings

The Water Reservoir project will support an engagement process for Tigard Parks & Recreation to refine specific ways the Reservoir can enhance Sunrise Park. As an added benefit, the Reservoir Project will be able to leave the site in a condition that allow for beneficial future park features. This could include some additional site grading to allow for future trails or viewing areas for the surrounding natural areas.

Upcoming Meetings

  • Neighborhood Meeting: Hosted by the city’s consultant team, the purpose of this virtual meeting is to inform neighbors of the project as currently planned. This meeting is not a decision forum and is not to approve or disapprove the project in whole or in part. It is to share information regarding the project and to solicit constructive input from neighbors and affected property owners. The application for the project will not yet be complete. Therefore, the project will be at various stages of planning and some details may not be available at this time. If you have questions but cannot attend, please contact Tony Mills at 503-563-6151 or by email at millst@aks-eng.com.
  • Virtual Open House: Our whole community will have a chance to learn more about the preliminary reservoir design and provide feedback on ways the Reservoir project can start to prepare Sunrise Park for future development. This opportunity will be hosted online in June on the project website: www.engage.tigard-or.gov/reservoir
  • Community Advisory Committee: Members will be responsible for reviewing and commenting on potential future park amenities. This includes providing input and advice to the project team on ways to leave the site in a condition to allow for beneficial future park features.
    • June 8, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
