Home Occupations Survey for Tigard HOME

Tigard HOME (Housing, Opportunity, Mobility, and Enterprise) is a long-range planning project that is focused on creating vibrant neighborhoods where it’s easy for everyone, regardless of mobility needs, to get to homes, shops, and services.

Based on community input, the City Council will consider updates to the Tigard Development Code. This code regulates where businesses can operate and how new buildings look. The goal of these updates is to increase access to shops and services in Tigard’s residential neighborhoods. 

One important part of the code that will be updated are the regulations on home businesses in the Home Occupations Chapter.
