What is Tigard HOME?
Tigard HOME (Housing, Opportunity, Mobility, and Enterprise) is a long-range planning project that aims to provide community members with more options for entertainment, employment, amenities, services, and housing. Tigard HOME is working to create vibrant neighborhoods where it's easy for everyone, regardless of mobility needs, to get to homes, shops and services. With help from community input, expert advice, and proven planning approaches, the City will recommend updates to the Tigard Development Code, which is the set of rules that guide how and where things are built. We need to hear from you!
Our City motto proclaims Tigard as "a place to call home." Does this ring true for you?
What do you love about calling Tigard home and what do you wish could be even better? What do you wish you could produce, make, sell or access from your home or in your neighborhood? Share your thoughts below!
